We are looking for talented people with patience who are interested in working with volunteers to help them make the most of the technology available. As a volunteer tech guru you will work with party members to help solve tech issues and make simple, easy to follow work documents that instruct new people on how to accomplish tasks using software. Put your tech savvy to work helping us utilize platforms and software to run our organization.
Meme Lord – Do you have the ability to create hysterical or powerful memes that instantly go viral? We are looking for creative people to make memes for our social media teams that help spread our message and drive interest to our social media pages. Put your amazing sense of humor and meme-making skills to work to help us reach a large audience on social media platforms.
Blogger – Can you put together captivating essays detailing why our party is passionate about specific issues? We’re looking for writers who can work together with our editor to create blog content for our website. As a volunteer blogger, you will work with party members to brainstorm ideas, work with researchers to gather credible resources, and work with the communications team to put your ideas together. Use your creativity and wordsmith skills to help us inform the public in intriguing and relatable stories.
Researcher - Are you a policy wonk with opinions to share? Are you good at sniffing out credible resources for useful data to help solve complex problems? We’re looking for researchers who can investigate policy issues and dig through legislation to update our team. As a volunteer researcher, you will work with party members to help inform policy decisions, help bloggers with data for their work, and help find organizations with which we can build single issue coalitions. Put your sleuthing skills to work to help us build the party and inform the public.
Newsletter Writer – Do you have knack for communications? We are looking for someone who can put together an interesting and informative newsletter to email out to party members and followers. As a volunteer newsletter writer, you will work with the communications team to help put together a weekly newsletter with pictures, information about upcoming events and advertisement of weekly blogs to drive interest to our website. Put your letter writing skills to work helping us reach out to our members and fans and drive engagement.
Photographer – Are you a professional photographer or passionate shutterbug? We are looking for people to volunteer to take photos of events and gatherings to add to our website, social media pages, and newsletters. As a volunteer photographer, you will travel to any local activities with party members to capture appealing images for our design and communications teams. Put your passion for photography to work to help us tell the story of our journey together working to improve the lives of Pennsylvanians.
Graphic Designer – Are you skilled at making digital masterpieces? We are looking for people to volunteer to create graphics and infographics for our website, social media pages, merchandise, and literature. As a volunteer graphic designer, you will work with our communications team to create artwork and infographics to illustrate data, help visualize policy ideas, and promote our organization. Put your visual art skills to work building attention grabbing masterpieces to help us attract followers and inform the public on our policies.
Platform moderator – Do you have a following on social media? We are looking for people to manage social media platforms. As a volunteer platform moderator, you will take control of one of our social media pages, work with our communication teams, graphic designers, and meme lords to post daily content and interact with followers. Put your social media skills to work growing a following for our pages and helping to spread the word about events and policies to grow our organization.
Algorithm Master – Do you have experience dealing with big tech algorithms? We are looking for people who can train our communications on how to increase views and grow our pages. As an algorithm master you will work with our communications team to build training documents and presentations, teach volunteers how to increase visibility, and update the team on trending keywords, topics, and hashtags. Put your skills to work helping us to spread our message and grow our organization.
Training Supervisor– Are you a people person with a passion for helping others learn new skills? We are looking for people who can create training documents and host meetings to help other team members grow their skills. As a volunteer training supervisor, you will work with the communications and administration teams to assess what training documents are needed, work with volunteers who excel at these tasks to create training documents, help create training videos, and organize speakers for training meetings. Put your people skills to work helping to bring volunteers together in fun and informative skill building sessions.
Content Moderator – Do you have an eye for web design? We are looking for people to help build content for our website. As a content moderator, you will work with our communications team to build pages and refresh the design of our website. You will work with our photographers and graphic designers to help make the site more attractive and work with the editor and administrators to organize content. Put your website skills to work helping us to create an attractive and professional space for our members and followers.
Merchandise Developer– Do you appreciate a great graphic t-shirt or coffee mug? We are looking for people to help design merchandise to sell on our website. As a merchandise developer you will work with party members to design new hats, t-shirts, tote bags, coffee mugs and any other merch you can dream up and help get the merch into our store. Help us raise money and create swag we are proud to show off in the community.
Liaison - Do you have a passion for policy? Do you enjoy working with like-minded people to organize events and coordinate volunteers? We are looking for someone to work behind the scenes to reach out to organizations and coordinate efforts. Help us build ties with other organizations to work toward important policies.
Volunteer Management Coordinator - Do you love meeting new people and helping them discover their potential? We are looking for a person to help us welcome new recruits and find their fit in our organization. As a volunteer coordinator, you will contact new volunteers, get to know them, and coordinate with our teams to help integrate them into projects. Help us grow our teams and build our organization.
